When I had my HSG ... I ran a EVO VII rim and tyre all round on mine ..they were 17" x 8" with a 235/45 tyre... no issues at all in reference to scubbing and on lock ... and it was dropped on kings.

The vin search was much to success and to actually find out you will have a rare green HSG in hands if you go ahead with the purchase... Originally apart from the color throwing me off the certainty of this... It was mainly the fact that the rear end of it not having the HSG spare wheel type...

Incorrect ... mine was a genuine white HSG RVR with only 40,000kms back in 2006 when I purchased it from an importer here and on its built plate date was 1996 .... also just before I bought mine, I had looked at a black HSG and it was of 1996 build too.

As a former HSG RVR owner... Im pretty sure HSG's come only black and white in color. My thoughts are this RVR was originally a SSG at one time and now at some stage has been mocked up to a HSG ... adding the body kit/front bar on, perhaps going from NA to turbo or if already a turbo version...

In regards to the evo V brace your refering to...Im pretty sure you can get one from a std base model GL sedan lancer ??? as they dont have split fold rear seats either.... Only Glxi and Aspec Gsr's fold down from memory.
