is it a metallic sound, like knocking or more a rubbing /scrapping / grinding noise like you said? My mate had a similar grinding noise on the passenger side of his vr4 ..it turned out to be the harmonic balancer spining off its seal and rubbing against the chassis rail which soon after caused...

Pretty sure from memory 4g61/61t motors have these, seeing they dont run balance shafts... Looks like a normal rubber seal only closed off.

Does 6Boost only make exhaust manifolds???
