meh, maybe something else was wrong in the setup i had / or a dodgy install by the mechanic who chucked it in - but i did notice a loss down low and so did many others who jumped in doesnt matter now though , that was back in 03.. happily running a 63 with big16g now :D

when i was running the original 1.8 and TD04, i was running 15psi boost. When I put an evo ii intercooler and piping on there was some noticeable lag down low.. but fk me i could feel a lot more pickup top end thats just what i noticed personally- i cant speak in general

+1... maybe water got into them as well id change them over first thing..

my mate was running 18psi day in and day out on std internals (with a good fuel set up) on a 4g63 with td05

up to you. i use them as parker lights. i changed both the globes to a mild 5w so its not so bright

from what I have been told by everyone who has done the evo front brake conversion on a GSR, the GSR and EVO rear brakes are the same and are both single piston so no need to change anything

CC GSR - Single Piston, 265mm discs (hopefully i havent confused this with 256mm arghh) EVO 1,2,3 - Twin Piston, 276mm discs, and a bigger brake booster than GSR , see here...

so just to confirm, when can you turn on the foglights using the switch - like if you press the switch do they only actually turn on when you have parkers/headlights on? or do they run of permanent power/accessories/ignition ?

yeah thats pretty good man that wouldnt work out for me though because no evo came factory in charcoal so id have to fork out $$$ for respraying an evo boot the right colour.. was easier and a lot cheaper for just foggies and small amount of time to install :wink:

hmm no idea its funny how they mentioned not to run without an air filter. i wouldnt even consider doing it regardless of fire hazard ive changed air filters on all the cars ive owned , and they can get absolutely FILTHY... would anyone really want all that crap running through their turbo /...
