Do you have a BOV also? Could that be malfunctioning (i.e. sticking open or is it connected correctly to vacuum/boost...) on these high pressure spikes?

Yeah, I've noticed that too but never actually looked into it... Does anyone know the effect on castor if we do this? From memory, it out your struts in a more vertical position...so less castor???

Yeah, the rail may not be compressing the seals enough, the bottom seals may not be aligned quite right or the O-rings at the top may just be old and cracked. This is the rubber spacer/seal I was talking about on the top of the injector:

yep, I had a similar problem a while ago. Turned out I had missed installing an O-ring at 2am in the morning... :fuuuuu: Also, check that the top rubber spacers on the injectors are not too old and crushed out of shape. If they are, you won't be able to get adequate compression on the seals...

When you're trying to loosen the top rings, make sure that you're holding the top ring with one C-spanner to stop it from moving and rotating the second ring anti-clockwise (left) with the other C-spanner... Also, do you have braided brake lines? Depending on what brand they are you may not be...
