Have you tried checking the diagostic code? You mentioned knock sensor, is it the above which makes you think knock sensor? Maybe O2 sensor not warming properly and giving faulty readings... But first things first, check http://www.vfaq.com/index-main.html for how-to guides and then go from...

Sorry mate, didn't even think to take a pic when I was doing this. I'll take a pic on the weekend when I'm back at the shed :) It's basically a glorified oil cooler. Just get rid of those 'massive' 1.2" inlets and chuck some -AN fittings on and your right! :thumbsup:
