    4G93 Turbo setup

i have a tdo5 14b with braided oil feed line and dump pipe. can also throw in a slightly ported exhaust manifold. this setup just scrapped me into the 12's Consistant low 13's and has more in it with a better porting job. $350 you will only have to get your exaust flange rotated a little to...

    Oil

i intially ran castrol magnatec for a while then ran penrite 15w semisynthetic for four years. this ran the car from 210,000km to 250,000km. i recently pulled the engine down and all the bigends/mains are well within speck and unmarked. i thrashed the shit out of that car. however i changed oil...

skip the 18g go the 20g. an 18 has all the lag of a 20 with not much more than a 16g.

    4G93T Rods - Standard V's Forged

apart from the cheap part. i do intend to run a 20g on stock internals. my hope is, maybe ill squeeze out a flat 12 before i start wearing a piston as a crutch piece when it blows through the block. lol...........we'll see how i go. after that the 63 goes in.

    4G93T Rods - Standard V's Forged

you wont get 20 psi out of a tdo4, you would be lucky to make any serious gains with 16psi

    4G93T Rods - Standard V's Forged

I would prefer 8.5:1 purely because in a way your both right. however there are a few things i would like to point out. when using higher comp ratios you do make more power out of less boost but..... it is much more risky. Now you might say a good tuner can do this no worries. that might be true...

    4G93T Rods - Standard V's Forged

just an idea for the guys that wanna run cams make sure you rectify any oil preassure problems so there is no epic fail at high RPM. stock internals will handle up to 16psi with good oil preassure but even all that forged awsomeness will fail without oil. Just a tip as this seems to be the...

    4G93T Rods - Standard V's Forged

you can pull 200kwatw with a tdo5 big16g as 3zercrowd has pretty much proved. and thats with stock internals. with forgies and a polished head + cams and a good tune the turbo will decide what you want. tdo5 small 16g, about 190 to 210kw. full boost starts at 3500rpm tdo5 big 16g, about 190 to...

Does anyone have one of these

a good upgrade is to port out the intake manifold to match up to a v6 magna throttlebody. use the 3lt 1991 to 1995 v6 one and all the elec parts match up. also use the magna throttle body bolts.

    Kia Cerato 2005 - Oil sludge build-up

another option is to drain a little oil and run about three cups of diesel oil for about a week before oil change get the temps up do heaps of driving. diesel engine oil is pretty much the same stuff it just contains more detergents. then dump and replace with fresh oil.
