My 4G93T with 9:1 compression lagged till 4000rpm and then pulled hard. Quite laggy but it has it's charm.

I bought a slightly used set of pistons and rods from someone. They are CP 81mm pistons. (9:1). Just took all the measurements and the pistons are slightly smaller then my stock pistons :blink: The piston to wall clearance is now about twice what it should be according to the specifcation...

Because my 93 colt hatch does not have the inspection hatch at the right position. And also there are 2 different sender units on a evo tank. So you would need to do so in a real Evo as well I think.

Is the engine completely stock? I run a 4G93T engine with Evo bolt ons and mine is running 10:1 on WOT. Not sure what you call lean, but 14.7 is exactly what it should be on closed loop.

I had the same problem, of on the senders resistance reading was all over the place. Replaced the unit by a working one, now the fuel gauge goes to 3/4 instead of 1/2. I'm thinking about adjusting the needle, I hate dropping the tank over and over again.

I wonder if a carpet like that would fit my 1995 3D mirage. (colt over here) as well.

I hope you have means of bringing the compression down (decompression headgasket, low compression pistons) you will never be able to run descent boost without Pre-ignition occuring.

Should be fine, I'm running the setup. Does get overly richt to an afr of 10.1:1 on WOT at higher revs. But idle and cruise it's no problem.
