How to log on a laptop???

Check the following: 1. You have the right com port - maybe have a look at your bios to see which one it is. 2. I'm not sure about this one but make sure the logger is set at the appropriate speed (hz/baud) - 9600 at a guess 3. Disable other software such as palm "hotsync", GPS logging...

    Rich AFR Or not?

L/M/H Trims are Low/Medium and High... These are the long term trim values that are used (and updated) by the ECU to get a more accurate 'first guess' when injecting fuel. The ECU designers knew their sensors were less than accurate and also would skew at different RPM/Flow (can't remember...

    Rich AFR Or not?

Your ECU will happily compensate in Closed loop. However, in open loop your at the mercy of the stock fuel maps. I'm not sure if the L/M/H Trim compensation kicks in when in openloop. Can anyone clarify? btw: I don't think running a 16G (or 20G) turbo makes any difference in either open or...

    Vibration

Before prop replace it was loud enough match with my stereo. Now it is more of a background noise but still easily distingishable if the stereo is off. The knocking under the car is only when coasting (no accell and most noticable around the 3k RPM range). As many other people have mentioned...

    Vibration

Yep.. a deep grumbling was exactly how it sounds. Seems it was worse coasting downhill as well. At times I could actually feel it knocking around under the car but it seems to come and go. Just as an update, while the car is much smoother as a result of changing the bearing the same noise is...

    Vibration

I think there was noise thoughout the rev range (although not much at all under 2k). I think it felt worse around the 2.5k - 3.5k mark cause it caused a harmonic. Not exactly sure which one it was - they just said "Prop Shaft Bearing". It was $211 supplied & installed from TechSport. $60 does...

    Vibration

Just to add my 2cents. My car has been getting the shakes + some grinding noise when coasting in gear. It goes away when I put even the slightest bit of throttle on. I have just had my tail shaft centre bearing replaced and it seems to have fixed alot of the problem. There is still a bit of a...

    Electrical/computer stuttering

Caps is possible but if it only happens when you turn on the head lights its more likely its power/battery related. Could be bad battery or barely working alternator??? I guess is you have a bad relay somewhere in the headlight circuitry and are shorting the battery.

    car alarms

I can also recommend the Radiostar "King-eagle" alarm system. I know it looks like cheap crap from Indonesia but having it installed more than a year ago now it is the best alarm system I have seen. Off ebay - $120 bucks Installation - $Too ashamed to say 1.5km paging range (more like 1km)...
