    Rebuilding a turbo.

Notice housing is bigger, the wastegate is bigger and the casting has greater nickel content. These cheap chinese turbos are a big improvement over the crack prone genuine units. Notice that the copy housing has no acceptance for the flame ring. All Geniune Mitsubishi turbos use the flame...

4g93/63 conversion for a 96 CE Lancer Coupe

It is very hard to put an exact cost onto a conversion like this. There will always be things to spend money on. Do you just bolt in an engine or do you change the timing belt first? What about the aircon gas? The list could go on forever. Here is a couple of pics of a CE coupe that we are...

    Gear box question....

All the 4cyl gearboxes(ex Starion) will bolt to an EVO engine. Only problem is that you have no bolt holes for RWD engine mounts on an EVO engine.

    Gear box question....

The early FWD 6G gearbox is the biggest FWD trans that you can get. The early AWD 6G gearbox is same as VR4 with different ratios and bellhousing boltpattern. The 3000GT twin turbo has a very large AWD Getrag 5 or 6 speed. Are you looking for a strong V6 box or what exactly?

    EVO 2 engine....

Yes a FWD Galant gearbox will bolt to an EVO engine. Use the backing plate, flywheel and starter from the NA motor. Good luck. p.s just remember that I said it is not a very sensible thing to do.

    EVO 2 engine....

No I was referring to fitting a VR4 engine. Thats your choice, it is do-able. Aside from the rollstopper mount fabrication, there is also a hassle with the top engine mount and stuffing around with wiring. I have worked on a VR4 with a EVO engine and I did not have a close look at how the...

    EVO 2 engine....

The EVO engine will bolt to a FWD gearbox, however in a Galant you will need to do some fabrication to get the rollstopper mounts to bolt to the engine block. Fitting a VR4 engine to your FWD would be MUCH more sensible. You will need a 6 bolt FWD flywheel.

    bad adjustable gears that fail?

We have every confidence in the quality of all the Buddy Club products and are thier preferred dealer for EVO products. The Fidanza cam gears are also very good quality, just a little hard to adjust. But better value for money.
