Has anyone disconnected the waste gate actuator so minimal boost it being produced? As more of a vacuum is going to be a benefit than positive pressure? Mike do you just get it to normal operating temp at the first start up, turn off, change oil then start to bed in rings?

Most of the problem with the 3's on gravel is too much oversteer, Which I am trying to dial out at the moment. With more understeer you can drive it more aggressive, which should make it quicker. I wonder what the works cars used before they went to an active center diff? maybe something like...

Hmm okay, that Kazz unit does look tempting, I usually replace my Ralliart VCU every season with a brand new unit. Maybe this would give a better drive, especially on gravel.

Being an open center I can't see any benefit. Apart from being in brand new working condition.

I have re used mine a fair few times. I am now changing them with the items due to fitting a new flywheel. ARP also do some to suite. But I think ill stay with genuine Mitsubishi items. The best thing to do is probably just get new ones, then at least you know where there at.

You really do want to warm it up, like everyone has said, it's the best thing to do for the engine. The best thing you can have is an oil temp gauge, Always have your engine oil temp to around 70 deg before driving. Ideal temps are around 95-110 deg. You can run a Laminovia oil cooler set up...
