When using a steel head gasket, and some head studs, once you give the final torque that should be it, just a regular check for tension, with a steel gasket, don't loosen off and re- tension, that may be the case with a graphite gasket but not with MLS. And you may as well put a set of ARP head...

Also I have around five more standard VCU's but couldn't confirm if brand new or not, I would be thinking they are new as they are not used in rally gearboxes. Would have to confirm amount.
