Stock CD5A GSR - I keep a record of L/100 Kms. After tallying up one years worth of town, city, spirited and drives down the coast it ends up at 8L/100kms.

Some of us still have them and with a lot less kms than the one listed. If you don't know what to look for TS you might want to pay for an inspector or have a mechanic (if you know one) come check it out with you.

Cold start idle is between 1200-1500 rpm for a short while until engine gets to operating temperature. It then brings itself down to 750-800 rpm. It's completely normal.

Mitsubishi have updated front wheel bearing from MB303865 to AB303865 for anyone grabbing them thru Mitsu. [Note: CBC bearings still use the 'MB' prefix]

How many k's does it take for a heat shield to go all rusty and crap looking? Being a Jap car low K's don't surprise me though, I've heard they don't drive many kms a year and what kms they do are idling in heavy traffic.

Got a stocker GSR, and always thought dyno results had a lot of variables ie: what gear it's run in, ambient temperature, dyno operator and type/make of dyno the run is done on?
