If I even thought that I had to give a mechanic instructions on how to do a job, I take my car, and money elsewhere. Personally, I'd rather just pay a competent mechanic and get it fixed right the first time.

Looking through a brake pad listing at an auto supplies shop I noticed the part number for Lancer Evo 1992-1995 was the same as that for the KR/KS Verada. Ask for KR verada pads, pay $40 Ask for the exact same pad, but for an Evo and pay $140 lol.

Makes sense. Does this mean GSR's with forged rods aren't as responsive? Just curious. Did you constantly rev it hard, it's just that I thought it was revs not boost that kills 4g93t's. Especially with only 3psi extra.

Your Idle Speed Controller is most likely stuffed. When you turn on the aircon the ISC bumps up the revs to compensate for the extra load on the engine. Ring Meek (that's where I got mine) Tel: (02) 9769 1586

That was a wicked meet up & {cough} 'cruise' through the Nato. A great variety of very nice rides - Evo's & GSR's, RX7's, Old skool Corolla's and a Datto, Skylines and that WRX. Jamie, when the next cruise is on I'll be there again for sure. Was very cool to meet you and Craig (again).
