what kinda fluid to use with a front clutch type LSD?

Way to dodge the question, and thanks for that.

what kinda fluid to use with a front clutch type LSD?

I have received some great help, and I appreciate that, but often times it's accompanied by what you called "animosity towards beginners". I don't think of myself as a retard nor an idiot and don't appreciate comments as such. I do think the search engine on this site is garbage and I've used...

what kinda fluid to use with a front clutch type LSD?

Really, you have? I find it to be quite the opposite. However, in that case... does a newbie-related forum not make sense? Then all of us people who apparently walk over self-inflated egos could make less posts being that scrolling tends to be difficult for you.

what kinda fluid to use with a front clutch type LSD?

Like the above user said, since this forum community is very against car beginners/newbies a "newbie" forum would be very helpful. Hell, if you don't want to answer the question, just don't. Is another thread going to kill you? It's not like this forum has a thousand active members from what...

what kinda fluid to use with a front clutch type LSD?

search on this forum sucks, so I'll help give you info on what I use. I'm using redline MTL-80. Definitely do not reccomend adding any LSD additive as it will eat up your synchros. Stick with GL-4. GL-5 stuff in the gearbox = no no.

Wiring a Boost Gauge (Newbie Stuff)

right, so should I just cut another opening where the gearbox line goes in? It looks like it's pretty secure and I wasn't sure if cutting into the rubber a bit would cause more cabin noise or loosen anything up.

Wiring a Boost Gauge (Newbie Stuff)

There actualy seems to be quite a few places where hoses pass through the firewall, so for someone who's a bit of a beginner this can be very confusing. As for the Gauge instructions, I have no manual as I bought mine used ;)

Wiring a Boost Gauge (Newbie Stuff)

Are there any pictures laying around point out which cables passing through the firewall are which? :D

Wiring a Boost Gauge (Newbie Stuff)

Pick up a $20 Mechanical Autometer vac/psi gauge. Is it a bad idea to tap into the BOV line? The cage mount you mentioned was actualy too small and I'd have to cut out some of the padding to fit it. I found a slick spot to mount the gauge behind the wheel/in front of the cluster. Can this...

Wiring a Boost Gauge (Newbie Stuff)

Inside? Not sure what you mean by that exactly. It has a vacuum line which I've connected to the Blow Off Valve line w/ a T. I just need to figure out how or what place is best to bring it through the firewall. It also has a ground/power, which I would assume is basic. I was thinking the...

Wiring a Boost Gauge (Newbie Stuff)

Alright, so I'm sure there are plenty of generic guides out there on the net, but I was wondering if one was done up here on team4g for the evo 1-3, showing the best firewall route and where/how to hook up the electrical power/ground lines. Any help/diagrams would be appreciated. Thanks,

Replacement Wheel bearing / Mud flaps - Evo 1 ?

^^ Had he not offered to pick some JDM ones up for cheap on his trip to Japan I would definitely go with an eagle/talon matching part. :)

Replacement Wheel bearing / Mud flaps - Evo 1 ?

Lol, thank you for the link. Sorry, I was only asking for the NTN # as the previous owner told me to pull the # from the hub and it would start with "NTN" and from there he'd order a direct replacement form Japan. Of course I wanted to save the hassle of pulling off the hub ~_~.

Think something like this would be a nightmare in shipping to the U.S.? I could use a spare ce9a wheel.

Turbo Tech Boost Controller Install? Help.

Do you have any picutres handy to give me an idea of how to mount something like that? The roll cage is snug so tight to the a-pillar i'm not sure that I can get something that fully wraps around. Otherwise, I was thinking of just a gauage+pod and drill it in to the dash.
