Gotcha, I was thinking that might be the case. Does anyone know of other model cars rear wheel bearings are swappable in an evo 1? i.e. talon, eclipse, proton? I'm going to try and have to find some bearings, hopefully w/ shipping from the states.

Ok, I got the fronts done w/out needing to rmove the hub. However, in the rear the studs are recessed into what looks like the wheel bearing. I pulled off the axel nut, but the hub stil doesn't seem to want to budge/come off. Is the hub somehow connected to something other then the axle nut...

Nevermind, I figured out I need a 1 1/4 socket to do the job... duh :)

I'm having some difficulty trying to figure out how to take the hubs off. What's the simplest way to do it without taking the suspension off as well? Thanks,

I'm no expert, but I had some 12/6 play in my rear wheels and it was due to my rear control arm bushings being totally shot. I replaced the bushings and all is well.

On the topic of manifolds, is it worth porting out the stock evo manifold or going with something like that $180 cast manifold that's already ported.

So today I decided to take a crack at installing the ARP long wheel studs I received in the mail yesterday. I took the rotor & caliper off and got to the hub. However I couldn't figure out how to remove the existing studs. Are they machine pressed in? Should I take a hammer to them and see...
