Where to buy Evo Mudflaps? Lost 1 of the 4

Really? They'd have evo 1-3 compatible flaps? For some reason I find it highly unlikely.

Where to buy Evo Mudflaps? Lost 1 of the 4

Hey all, I figure I'll make a thread here, but does anyone know or rather even have evo 1-3 mudflaps for sale? My rear right flap ripped off awhile back and went missing. Looking for a replacement. They're in the OEM Red color.

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

aha, it works! :) That sneaky fan finally turned on. Then off, then on, etc etc. So I would assume it's all in good working condition. Matt, you should be safe. just keep an eye on the temp gauge.

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

The steam stopped, or mostly, so I guess it would be that spilled coolant (damn it steams forever, makes you wonder). The fan's still aren't on, and the radiator could cook eggs in seconds. Is it normal for an aftermarket aluminum radiator to get so dang hot so quick?

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

More and more steam is starting to come off the radiator and it's burning hot to the touch. Yet the temp gauge in the cluster gets up to just under half way between Cold and hot and stays there. Fan's still haven't turned on yet. been about 10min or so.

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Oh man... now that doesn't give me much confidence! haha. Well, the car is outside idleing as I type this... Here's for hoping.

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Matt, how hot did your let your temp gauge reach to before you decided to turn off the car? I want to let it heat up and wait for the fan's to turn on, but want to know how hot is too how and when to turn it off.

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Roger that. I'll leave it on a bit longer and see what comes from it. I just got really worried when I saw the radiator heat up like that and no fan go on. I was used to the fan going on really fast with my previous subaru impreza. There's no chance of engine heat damage so long as I keep...

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Ok, so here's my status as of now: I have everything in place with all hoses connected & cleaned. I turned on the car and everything seemed fine... The water started to move as it heated up, but didn't move when it was cold. I watched the temp gauge in the cluster slowly go up and before I...

Pull off front bumper on Evo 1? How? *frustrated*

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

hah, possibly. Where exactly is that located? Doesn't seem like something I would have disconnected or taken out, but it's always possible it wasnt working in the first place (though I don't know how I'd drive 500 miles and not have any engine problems without it working).

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Ok, I'll try that then! Thanks. However it still doesn't solve the problem of why I'm not getting enough pressure to move water through the radiator and up the lower hose into my engine... I'm a bit worried something more sinister is at play. Any ideas of some mistake I may have made along...

    Rust

Which could in fact be my result. However I haven't heard mention of grinding it out and resealing with aluminum strips & sealant (probably has been mentioned but I haven't seen it yet). On top of that the car was sprayed in some heavy duty truck bedliner. It might have trouble breaking...

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Hrmm, wouldn't it be even better to just stick the water hose over the top radiator outlet/hosing? I.e. right where the thermostat is? I would think that sticking the tap hose in the radiator tank itself would cause all the water to go straight out the bottom and leave no pressure for water...

    Rust

The Evo 1 I just recently bought had a bad case of roof rust. However I didn't go to the extremes of replacing the entire roof. Instead I took it to an auto body repair/paint shop and since I needed the car painted anyways, they offered to fix it for free. They did a deep grind out of the...

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Well initially I did disconnect the bottom hose and try to drain most of the existing fluids, once it looked like nothing else was coming out I hooked it back up to the radiator. Maybe I have a faulty thermostat? I wouldn't think so as I've been driving it around on the stock radiator setup...

Resetting the ECU + Boost Gauge Questions

Ok, simply disconnected the battery and booting it back up seemed to have did the trick. Very stange ~_~. On that same note, I looked under the passenger side dash and noticed that the ECU looks to be a gold metal box. Does the gold color of the ECU box indicate what ECU I might have...

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Ok, so i double checked all the connections. I have the radiator filled with distilled water and all connections are solid and non-leaking with the exception of the outlet hose at the top which I have disconnected (in order to flush/drain). A little water was coming out when I first fired...

Pull off front bumper on Evo 1? How? *frustrated*

I filled the radiator and connected the lower hose, but for some reason the engine won't suck in any of the fluid. i.e. what a radiator should do. Ideas?

New Radiator install troubles - Question:

Hey all, Just got done jamming in the radiator I ordered off of ebay for my Evo 1. It was alot thicker then the stock one and the mounting holes didnt exactly match up with the stock fan. With that said, I managed to finally cram it in (and i mean i literally pounded it in at times ;)) I...
