Hi all I need new rear struts. The car has (from memory) pedders lowered springs all round and KYB front struts. Does anyone have the part number to hand for KYB rear struts? I have failed at searching if it's somewhere on this forum already. Thanks

Thank you for all the help everyone, I had the air con re-gassed on Saturday and a couple of o-rings needed replacing. All seems to be in order for now :)

I checked the car over today. When I turn the air con on whilst the car is idling the revs drop, and I hear the clutch and compressor turning over, doing its thing. So I'm hoping just a re-gas is in order. From there if there's issues they can diagnose with the dye for any leaks and we'll go...

Anyone have a rough idea on how many kms of fairly normal/city driving a set of brake disc rotors should last? The HSG clicked over 140 000kms last week and I need to replace the pads as they're starting to alert me they're worn down. Just trying to get an idea of if 1) I should just buy pads...

Brake Pads/Discs Discs: dba425 or rda425 for the rotors, if you want slotted, simply add an S with an R or L on the end. Pads: same as FTO GPX (Verada with ABS) Feroda Formulas - DB1223FF 94 Paj - DB1223 Bendix DP830 (^^^ Copied from other threads whilst searching)

So Penrite now only make full synthetics. Apparently this can be mixed with leftover semi-synth Penrite oils ok. Doing an oil change tomorrow and since I've had a good run with Penrite and the Stop Tappet stuff, I'll give the full synth a go... Penrite HPR 10w-50

True Pete, but I just wanna change it up a bit and I wouldn't have it hanging too far out, just enough that the curve sits within the curve of the rear bar arch. Good point on the topic of keeping the bar clean, QIK, was thinking mainly for the fashionz n stuff, but you raise another plus!

Ok I am donig an oil change tomorrow before a run down south for the weekend and I reckon I will give this Liquid Moly Stop Tappet a go. What's the deal with this stuff? Just pour it in with the new oil? Or do you pour it in with the old stuff and let it run for a while?
