Good thread, I was after some ideas for new oil to use to help ease the ticking that's become quite the driving companion. I'm going to try the Penrite HPR10 10w/50, I think I used to use it on my old S13 some to think so hoping it helps a little.

To add my 5c - I have a '97 HSGR manual. Recent change in jobs means a 70km round trip each day - 64km of that is sitting on a freeway. I am getting 450km/tank easily. Prior to that I worked just shy of 10km from work, and was only getting 400km/tank. The RVR loves the long steady trips.
