All sorted, cleaned the terminals and replaced the neg terminal. I would never have thought that it was a connection issue from the way the car was behaving.

Well i had a chance to check the alarm battery today and its not that, 6v battery and reading 6.89 so nice and strong, now ill check the connections and fuses and maybe grab the earthing kit of the old orange cb track car to see if that helps.

Instread of welding it up could you get a new bearing to fit in and maybe a weld in cup or something, it would be alot safer.

Ok one of our GSR's wont start, it sounds like the battery is going flat (the alarm dies and sounds like a sick bird kind of noise) but then we put the battery in our other GSR and it starts up with no issue. Has anyone got any ideas?
