You will need an engine lifter. Once everything is disconnected from the engine, lift and pull away. I would recommend lifting the engine and the gearbox together. Lifter is about $250 to $350 from auto parts shop.

there's a single wire with plug that connects to the power steer pump. see if that is plugged in. I was told it detect fluid flow to indicate steering which then send signal to rise the rev.

My Chariot have this side bars between front wheels and rears that actually have no purpose bar visual effect.

With the car stationary can you shift it to any other gear? If you can, it may not be a clutch issue.
