    Thats because they only fit late model hubs, not early model. They early models will either have to upgrade to late model hubs or make up brackets. your case would require custom brackets I would think

    as Clutz said: facelift legnums (ie. later model legnums, can't remember the years) have different hubs and can upgrade to late model evo brembos. I would think standard legnum twin pistons with that size disc would work well on the smaller cb!

    heaps! most half decent companies will do billet cams for the 4g63. Anything from near stock right up to big arse cams for pure race engines. I've got a set of BC 272's that I'm looking to get rid of actually haha :P

    ^^ bingo! yes, you would probably make a little more power. But they are far from a straight swap.... Better off going for something that suits early model evo's, will fit up much easier!

    psycho I'll PM you over the next couple of days - i'm flat out at work atm (still there haha) so i'll have a good look at it when I get a chance to see what lines it has/doesn't have. It is fairly bolt on/plug and play - about as easy as you will get on these cars any way! Some other issues...

    agreed. but there's not much point upgrading the turbo at all if you don't upgrade these as well! even the 14b i would consider vr4 450's and a chip minimum - I'm going microtech, bigger pump, evo 560's yeah, you have to do this for the 14b aswell. Pretty easy for an exhaust shop though...

    I just recently put a td05-14b from a galant vr4 on my gsr and i'm happy with it so far. fairly straight forward to install, and feels perfect for this motor - not too much lag and heaps better up top. can't wait to crank a bit more boost into it and see how it goes!     yeah, under normal running conditions, I've never been in a car that had less than 20ish vaccuum at idle - unless they had cams. But by the sound of it you've already checked it so thats good to know! :) where abouts is this throttle closed switch?

    You can also go the other way if you like, and get your engine builder to modify the rods to allow floating pins. I had this done on my last 4g63 build as my forgies were like yours and designed to be floating, but I was using standard rods :)

    I also had a similar problem when I bought my gsr. It was lowered on pedders suspension which was a fair bit lower than standard, and on stocky 14's it was just a pain in the arse - kept getting defected, and would just scrape out everywhere. I went to evo stockies. Rides and handles alright...
