Anyone happen to know if a engineers report would help with NSW registration? I may be looking at selling my Evo 1 soon, and I have the engineers report for it. I haven't heard of too many other non yellow plates that have an engineers report, which is why i'm curious. Think mines a REB number...

Was out at Broadford racetrack for my first track day there last sunday, had an absolute blast of a day. Cant wait to get back there again soon, very addictive! Superduke is really well suited to the track, just need to keep improving my track day skills.

Isn't there some OEM exhausts that open up the same or similar way? I'm pretty sure BMW have a variable exhaust on some of their cars - automatically opens a second outlet or something when you boot it - quite a difference in noise, but proably still within the legal limit.

What adjustments do these have? Height/Damper/Rebound?

Ok guys, its all fixed - was the master cylinder in the end! The passenger side front disk and driver side rear are on the same circuit and the drivers rear pad was worn right down too, which i didn't notice! Small update, ABS reckon its the master cylinder - so getting that replaced for around $180 + labour.

Should be an Evo master cylinder but am not 100% sure, but the car is a CD9A I'm the second owner of it in Aus. Anyway, dropped car off to ABS in Seaford, they're going to further diagnose it. Will update when I know what the deal is! ABS guy seemed to point to ABS unit from our chat on the phone.

Just an update, set of calipers arrived and fitted just the one for the front left. Bled brakes again, took for test spin and same issue. So its definately further upsystem. This was without the ABS fuse in again. So ABS function has nothing to do with the issue. Think I need to get this to a...

What kind of condition are they in that Fulcrum would tell you to throw em away? Are they leaking? Suprised they wouldn't be able to rebuild/revalve them?

Hey Paul, caliper has been removed a few times and checked now mate, last time by a mechanic last friday. I really dont know, but seems that fluid can not travel back at all - almost like theres a one way valve stopping it from releasing. weird issue...

ok, well pulled ABS fuse today and still have exact same issue (ABS light was on, on the dash). Went for quick fang around the block, then longer fang and brakes started to lock up again on front passenger side. So appears to be hydraulic issue now!

hmm will try ABS fuse out on the weekend and see what its like.

Bit of an update on this, still have the same problem. Had Goerge from J.G. Ozz come take a look last Friday, he rebled all the brakes, took apart and inspected everything. He had issues pushing back the pistons for the problem brake and has to use clamps. Anyway, after rebleed and everything...
