I have the Rhino ones for my Evo1, they're as good as any going around, ordered them from Autobahn a few years ago.

My e1 is stock boost, stock exhaust (yeh, wtf?) and running 10lb.

Pretty sure its MD972050 (can check recipts when I get home tonight), mine was expensive when I got it from Mits, like $350 or something.

Thanks for the comments and advice guys, does anyone else have a set of the Jap spec ones in their Evo they can comment on? I'm not really looking to have E4 ones modified, would prefer some off the shelf coilovers.

Had this problem a few times on my Evo First time the rubber drive was stuffed on the regulator where it attaches to the motor. Second time the motor had gotten water in to, so had to be replaced. You should be able to hear the motor if its still working, if it is - then regulator is...

I had similar thing happen and it ended up being the clutch fork had broke. Found this out after I reco'd the slave and master cylinders.
