The X and the VIIIMR are basically the same, the nipple on the 10 faces towards our intake, which is better for the vac hose that connects to the inlet manifold (just makes it cleaner)

That top sensor isnt the thermo switch, its the the engine temp sensor which appears on your cluster. Does the temp gauge work on your cluster? I think you might need the thermo sensor in your radiator which is what the ecu reads off. Anyways, while my fan wasn't working, I simply ran a wire...
