Hey guys, I recently just purchased an Evo 3 ecu with ECMlink to put into my 97 hypergear and was curious if the pinout is the same or it is straight plug and play. I had to swap the ECU case as they mount differently but still bolts in and plugs in fine after that so only thing that could trip...

look for bubbling/roof rust at the front and rear. take off the bottom of the seal on the body in the tailgate area they are also prone to rusting underneath when water gets trapped. rear shocks are also prone to be rooted as rvrs squat hard under boost so that can be something to bargain with...

i know ssg and hsg are the same. somethings telling me rvr is on its own from memory though. vr4 definitely different not 100% about evo though

Did you adjust the clutch when you put it in? i.e. check pedal freethrow, clutch master etc. Sounds like you need to back the clutch master off a little on the pedal...
