Yeah almost, todays modern cars have a non vacuum adjustable reg in the tank with the pump, it just uses a spring and the maps in the computer are more complex to deal with the fueling.

    getting my license back

You might wanna check on that mate, pretty sure after the 4 months no licence you will still have the points, if you get done for anything straight after having your licence back you will most likely loose it again straight away, I was in the same situation as you once and I still had points...

    FPR positioning...

Yeah well that is meant to be the whole point of this thread, the first post asks simply this. I am not saying it will be a good idea, will work better or worse than the stock setup, I'm just showing that I reckon it will work.

    WTB: Hoist

Whats wrong with a jack!! You could easily run a hydraulic hoist off 240 volt motor, just would be hard pressed to find one like that, you would have to get a different motor fitted OR there is transformers available that step up single phase to 3 phase, just will work a bit slow,( a mate of...

    Oil Cooler kit

It is the same as the small one as pictured in the linked thread, just push on hose conections, would be ideal for use as a power steering cooler. It's all in a sealed box, Can you lay it all out on the ground take a pic and post it up Shayne? or I will get pics if you really need them.

Subaru's still have a return line for there boosted models, not sure on other makes, but overall they do have a much higher running fuel pressure than our older cars. Modern returnless systems that maintain a constant fuel pressure via a spring reg at the pump have very extencive maps in the...

    Sard Fuel Presure Regulator

Just wondering if anyone is using a sard fuel pressure regulator. I have one to go on my car but the instrutions are all in jap so I'm not sure how to hook it up, there is a hole in the bottom that I assume is the outlet and the hole in the side is the inlet but I'm not sure.

    FPR positioning...

I'm sure I replied to this thread just after it was posted up but my post has dissapeared? Anyway, most new cars use a system where the fuel pressure reg is built into the fuel pump assy so therefore it is before the fuel rail. I think you could have the fuel pressure reg just before the rail...

    Headlight/ electrical issue

Green & black is the wire to your parker, it is just the wiring connection, it joins to the globe inside the headlamp assy. I'm gona say what all the other guys are saying tho, it will most likely be an earthing issue. Once there is paint over where it is meant to make contact you need to...
