The chips are usually set by the injectors specs for cc flow and deadtime. For an evo 510/560cc those specs are rated at the ~42psi. Whether the 510's off a VR4 are different, I'm not sure. But basically if you set the injectors at the wrong base pressure they are going to perform outside their...

it depends on the injectors, not the car/motor. hence if you swapped to the e3 510's, you'd run 42psi as well. If injectors are rated to 560cc at 42psi, you can hardly expect to see the same at 36. Running an aftermarket fpr on a vr4 with stock 450cc VR4 injectors at stock pressure isn't going...

as on gvr4, should be about 42 without vacuum for the 560's

same as the other boys have said, really. i upgraded to RDA slotted and EBC redstuff. Did bedding in process and got about 2-300 clicks before heading to powercruise. Brakes only faded once at the end of the first day. Was out for about an hour that session. Pads turned from red to yellow (hot)...

Changed this on mine also. I just explain to people that ask - the standard elbow fits INSIDE the evo0 one =P Makes a difference on it's own, but would be better accompanied by the larger IC piping as well... which I have yet to do.
