If you have the VIN number you can punch it in in ASA in the top left fields. And ASA will automatically fill in all the fields and direct you to the correct parts.

You can use the mount's of a C53A or C58A Mirage/Colt. They have 4G6X engines. The mounting points are the same for the 4G61, 4G67 and 4G63 engines. What engine did your car have when it came out of the factory? If it's a 4G61 it already had the proper mounts. Perhaps a bit stiffer bushings...

I'm still in need of a gearbox for my HSGR. Too bad Australia is so far away from here and gearboxes are heavy. I'm trying to get a Evo3 UPGE gearbox. But that's also a struggle.

I've been offroad with the HSGR in the Belgian Ardennes. Towed a 1800 kg trailer up a 8% inclined wet grassfield. Use the 4WD for what it's made for.

No HSG didn't come with roofrails. Have been looking for them as well myself. Can't find roofracks for RVR/Space Runner without rails. And the HSG didn't come with rails. Not any of them. If you see one with roofrails it's an SG or SSG converted to HSG.

Thanks heaps man! :thumbsup: I obviously miscalculated that. It would be a shame to put in the works of swapping out the 5th gear bits and conclude that it became worse.

We've found a company in England that has a Evo3 LSD and non-LSD box for sale that are fine. The LSD box is only a bit more expensive than the non-LSD box. If they also have the CV cups that go with the LSD box I'm going for the LSD one. I'm thinking of swapping out the 5th gear from the RVR...

When I punch in the chassisnumber of my HSGR in ASA I get this.

If I punch in my RVR chassis number. And go to transfer-assy. I get MD748832. In the part name column stands W5M33-2-UPGE,UPWE which is an Evo3 box.

My rear diff has a original sticker on it with 3.909 on it. Standard HSGR rear diff. ASA says the transferbox is identical to Evo2/3 GSR. Same partnumber.
