    Evo 3 Engine Stuck?

Ok I've looked at all the suggested locations for bolts and moving the hook along chain to get different angles and none of them seem to work. there still seems to be something stopping it from moving. It seems to be around the four to five o'çlock position on the fly-wheel (looking from the cam...

    Evo 3 Engine Stuck?

Hey Guys, Need some help getting my Evo 3 Engine out, The Story So Far: I have my engine all chained up to the Engine crane. I've undone all the bolts (that I can see) connecting the block to the bell-housing and the passenger side engine mount but for some reason the engine won't completely...

Parting out an AWD CC Lancer Coupe

Thanks Man, couple more questions: Price for 4 x discs and 4 x hubs (with bearings I presume)? Standard Evo 3 calipers or different? What size rims were you planing to run?

    will +40 offset fit

I have OZ 16 x 7 +40 with 205 x 50R16s (RE-55s) on my Evo III and there was rear guard scrubbing issues. I did the usual rolling of the guards and played the ride-height and everything seems to be ok now. The rear is still a little higher than I'd like it so I may get the mounting face shaved a...

Ce rear seats into cc gsr

I put my TME seats into my Evo 3 (just to see really) and the fronts were fine. The back part of the back seat was ok too but the base had a gap where the rear wheel arches met the floor and it was quite tight against the rear door cards too. It looked pretty cool though :D

Not ATM man All my funds are going towards rebuilding the Evo 3 engine. Going for 350ATWHP Unfortunately there's no point having nice rims if the car doesn't go anywhere

Front setup for 5 stud conversion

Ok so just for my own clarification (as I do tend to get confused easily :)) Fronts = FTO uprights which are 5-stud (5 x 114.3), with four-pot calipers and approx 29 cm ventilated disks (?) Rears = OEM Evo 3 hubs re-drilled to 5-stud or Evo 4 - 6 hubs with Evo 3 bearings (?) Correct ?

Front setup for 5 stud conversion

After reading through this thread I was wondering if the early model FTO up-rights (front) would fit on an Evo III?

    WTB : Evo 3 Crank

Hi Brian, I'm just emptying out the engine bay this week to get the block out so I can definately find out whats wrong. John seems to think that it might only be a broken pin on # 3 piston but not real sure yet. There doesn't seem to be any brass in the oil so it might not be the big end...

    EVO 3 rear swaybar

I have a OEM front and custom 23mm WhiteLine rear sway-bar and I love it. The car is very directional and goes exactly where you point it. It did take a little while to get the handling sorted though. It tended to be a little too taily but once I played with front to rear ride heights it settled...
