JWS brought in my Evo 3 as a Race Rally import. They get early Evo's from time to time. Ben at KYP goes to Japan all the time so he might be able to help you as well.

I have some Race Logic Coilovers ( 8F, 7R) in my Evo 3 tarmac car with a custom Whiteline 23mm rear sway-bar running 205 R-Specs. The car launches quite flat with very little bog down but it does spin all four wheels easily, especially if I do 7k launches. (My normal launch is 6 - 6500 rpm)...

After putting this post through a translater: Evo 8's and 9's front and rear bars are interchangable with no modification. I'm pretty sure that 7 front bars are different Try here: Spoiler Shop

How much for the engine alone? It might save me the pain of rebuilding mine :)

I've always used Exedy Sports Organic It's not the most agressive bite but I'd prefer to replace a clutch disk than a whole gear box or drive shafts. I launch with a bit of clutch slip anyway so it's not so bad

Forgot to update this: After I located the offending bolt that was holding in the square drive (hiding under the drive shaft) the engine just slid out no worries at all. You just have to turn it slightly as you pull. Engine is out and GB is still in :D

That's a good, cheaper alternative to a full kit. I'm guessing that you'd still have to cut the rear guards to get the car to sit at a nice height? They also have a wide-body kit on Lancer Register in the UK
