hang on, let me get this straight... you have an oil leak, you dont know where from or where abouts roughly its coming from, so you decided to pull the head off for a look? did you degrease the engine thoughly, i mean like two cans of degreaser first when looking for the leak?

Some GSR's (RS?) also came with a close ratio gearset. I have been in one GSR here locally that was doing around 60mph at 3.5krpm, much higher than the usual 3.0/3.2krpm. It did have a 3.545 rear end too because we checked. GSRWRC would know for sure.

if you are getting creaking from the front springs when turning, that is ususally an indication the spring isnt seated correctly on the spring perch and/or top hat. sometimes it could even bee the left and right side have been swapped around. There shouldnt be any creeking. apart from that...

chuck in a set of camber bolts at the front voung, then get a GOOD wheel alignment. most suspension places will sell them, shouldnt be more than $50.
