What is the reason to pull it out though? Is this a track car you don't drive day to day or are you putting something in which is in the way of the condensor or are you searching for the elusive 1kw gain you might make by removing the a/c compressor?

8" wide rim on cc gsr

If you are only going to run a 215 tyre why don't you just run a 7.5 inch rim or do you want a stretched look? I have EVO V rims on my EVO II and with a 215 tyre I have taken a hammer to the rear inner guards.

If you don't get a better offer for the tyres I will pay $800 including postage to Brisbane. They are a bit soft for a on going track day tyre but I would use them for one session and then go back to my hards.

    Conundrum

I decided today that I would remove the climate control from my EVO II as I know longer require it. I have since found that it isn't a plug in loom but integrated through out the whole dash loom. Is there an easy way to remove this or should I just be leaving the wiring where it is and removing...

WTB - EVO 3 MESH AND BADGE

    Evo 5 Rim clearance

Should be good for a sub 60 on 235 tyres at Lakeside. Ken at Accurate Suspension has these things nailed if you want to get a new wheel alignment and corner weighting done.

    Evo 5 Rim clearance

Join Evo Oz. You will get more information than here. Are you sure your currents rims aren't 17X7.5 and your running a 235 tyre? Did you talk to me at lakeside awhile ago about putting your VR4 engine into a EVO? If it is a race car only you can cut out the inner guard at the door on the rear...

    Time attack

I ran standard EVO II calipers and discs on my car at both Lakeside and QR and it was fine. I would suggest flushing your systems and running Penrite Sin fluid or something similar.
