I have now found the noise, the singing noise is coming from the transfer case but the noise on over run is the rear diff. I'm not too worried about the transfer yet but the diff will need to be fixed. Can I use a plate rear diff out of an Evo 3 as I have access to one. JohnS

I should probably explain, when I registered something went wrong with the process and it would not let me post. With the RVR section opening I thought I better get it fixed and the Admin was kind enough to do so very quickly. So now its good to go. JohnS
