Buy the parts from Racefab. He makes that pieces already.

    Rear brembo head F**k

    1. You're the first person I've heard having that issue with ABS. Not to say it's not a problem, just never heard it before. 2. You also asked about other caliper options. Given that you made zero reference to handbrakes, I wasn't aware that you knew this problem, hence my reply. Now you've...

    Rear brembo head F**k

The problem isn't ABS or not. The problem is rear Brembo calipers don't have the integral parking brake as well. Most of the U.K. guys that have swapped to front and rear Brembos, have had to run later Evo drum brakes for the parking brake as well. It's a bit more involved than just bolting up...

Evo 5 seats into a GSR

Evo I through VI front seat rails, and Evo I through IX rear seats, are all straight swaps. So, just swap them all out. No issues.

Evo 3 air conditioning compressor /lines

Right, let me get this straight. All you currently have, is a 6 bolt bracket, and a CC GSR? You have neither any 6 bolt AC parts, nor any early Evo AC parts? I take it that there is no one local to you that you could take that 6 bolt AC bracket to, to confirm it bolts to an early Evo AC...

Evo 3 air conditioning compressor /lines

You say you have a 6 bolt bracket, yes? Bolt it to your existing engine. If it works, then the existing CC GSR bracket will bolt to the 6 bolt block as well, and will answer your question.

Evo 3 air conditioning compressor /lines

Given that the only interaction between engine and compressor is a belt, I'd say engine choice is irrelevant. So long as the tensioner bracket still bolts up, I'd say just use the existing AC system components. There's no reason I can see why you would need, nor want, to change any of it.

Evo 3 air conditioning compressor /lines

Not entirely sure why running a 6 bolt would make any sort of difference? Does the AC pump bracket and passenger side driveshaft bracket not still bolt to the back of the 6 bolt block as normal? Don't think you run a different crank pulley either.

    Viamoto Matrix hoses

Yeah, Viamoto are a pretty decent company to deal with. Used them a few times now.

who wants to upgrade their ecmlite{e123/gsr} to the full version

2G ECUs are like later Evo ECUs, they have 4 plugs, use OBDII, etc. It's only a couple of wires to swap. Nothing major.

    GSR to Evo Exhaust modifications

As far as I was aware, all DSM downpipes need cutting and welding to fit the Lancer chassis.

    Electrical gremlins

Sounds like one of the sensors is either faulty, or dirty.

    Oil in Spark plug wells

I should clarify that. Route both breathers to the catch can, don't only route the PCV one. You'll be sucking unmetered air from the catch can through to the engine, rather than through the MAF.
  16. EvoMayhem

    Oil in Spark plug wells

A compression test won't confirm this, only a leakdown test will. Do it on a warm engine. You can fit a catch can, just block the port on the inlet manifold.

    Oil in Spark plug wells

If your dipstick has popped, after having cleaned out the PCV (the one way valve at the back of the cam cover) I'd be suspicious of your piston ringlands being cracked. This leads to boost pressure leaking past the pistons and pressuring your crankcase.) Its not an Evo III engine by any chance...

    Sequential shifters

I know a few folks who ran an Ikeya on a couple of III's and a II. One of which was used in conjunction with a PPG gearkit. It wasn't pretty. Dragging of the gears was apparent. The later Evo shifter fitted by 'Evo1RS' seems to have held up fine, and without issue. I guess it all comes down...

    I run a DW300. It's completely silent.

Evo 3 air conditioning compressor /lines

When I went to my local Mitis dealership parts department there was 2 different AC pumps that came up as listed for the early Evo platforms. Although they bolt the same way to the back of the engine, one pump has it's fittings pointing towards the firewall, the other had it's fittings pointing...
