My black 97 hsg was full of the roof cancer....did my head in as I'd bought it not knowing about the issue, and it had a resprayed roof (i thought it was just due to Sun fade or something). Took about 6 months for the bubbling to start....by the time I sold it (3 years later) it was bubbling...

Is it duel map, or just e85? How do you think it'd go getting to Melbourne? Any roof rust? Cheers

EVL20t so is that a screw off piece or did you have to hack at it with a flat head? And once you put the flare back on, it looks exactly the same? Structurally the same? Looking at some 10" +25 that I'd love lol. How would 10" go all round? I'm guessing a fair bit of poke....?

Hi guys, just after some clarification on what rim width/ offset fit under the E5/6. As far as I understand, if I stick with 17" I can go as wide 9.5" with an offset of anywhere between +20 to +35 with no guard mods correct? Now 18" I've had mixed opinions. Can I go 9.5" with a low offset say...

Hi guys, just wondering if anybody is familiar with this E4. Seems pretty well sorted and clean. I spoke to the guy and he has just had the motor rebuilt again due to crank shaft failure. This time he's done a 2.3 stroker with full forged internal with receipts and warranty through Precision...

Yeah vr401 I thought the same.... I'm guessing it needed a rebuild and he decided on forged pistons as opposed to standard? I'm just guessing.... And how do we know if it's a 6 or 7 bolt. And if it is a 7 bolt, will the hd clutch be causing, or end up causing crankwalk?

Yeah unless you're like me and ask $5k for my well modded HSG (in reflection I sold it too cheap) they never sell quickly. Might have to hit him with an epic low ball lol Wonder what it's like rust wise....my black one had it hard in the roof :(

Update: Ended up pulling 184awkw with the ebc intalled on the high setting of 16psi. It has 4 settings starting at 10psi. Very east to toggle through the settings, and according to the boys at springy, it was an easy install/setup. Pulls harder from down low even on the low setting, and really...

Lol @ nos and motec exhaust. Will that enable me to run the quarter mile in 2 mins and smash through roughly 38 gears to get there whilst flexing my tricep the entire time??

Yeah would rather stick with the more readily available 98ron fuel, like i said I'm not trying to squeeze every last bit of power out of it, I still want to keep It reliable. Sounds like a bigger fuel pump is a good idea along with the ebc and tune though...

I know, that's why I don't really want to start :P
