Normally I would agree that this is what programming does, but on the module there is a giant sticker that says " Key Number 3047 " and the fact it tells you what key it matches leads me to believe that each module will only program to its matching key... I will buy a new key and see how I go..

The module and key have matching numbers so if I buy a new key it may not match the module.. I may need to buy both.. Cheers..

Hey guys, I'm having the same problem, I have the same key in good condition with a new battery, I've located the module in the door and tried the procedure for evo 3 and it does not seem to work...? Central locking works fine just not with the remote.. any help would be appreciated..

It has for evo 2 & 3 not evo 1 and that's different..

You don't happen to know how to do evo 1 as its different... I've tried what you do here but no good... and I'm curious as to the aerial bit..?? In the evo 1 there is a module in the drivers door and it has no aerial..??

Hey guys , I'm having same problem.. my central locking works just not the remote, question is, how does this sensor in the door work, it does have three settings set 1, fix, and set 2 ..?? I have a new battery in the remote key and light comes on when I press it, so I'm sure it has to be this...
