I just got back hooking up the optima batt to the rvr for a second attempt, now I cant even see the immobiliser led light up. Basically no power thru out the car. Ive checked the 30A ignition & 80A alternator fuses, both are ok. Umm whats happening?

The holes are fine and don't need helicoil. Its just the studs screwed on the turbo has been rounded off "look like they have been run over with a grinder" therefore I cant find the correct studs/bolt size. Apparently the studs on the evo 3 turbo are not the same as evo 7. Jack the x3 exh...

I'm not sure what's its call but this evo 7 manifold will be bolted on the rvr x3 evo 6 and the old manifold don't have the 2 holes. I assume it should be ok to mig weld a plate on both holes if I cant find the correct plug.

Can some one pls advise me of the correct turbo studs and correct bolts to cap off the holes on top of the exhaust manifold. These are for the evo 7 TD05-16G turbo & exhaust manifold. The current studs on the turbo has stripped threads. Wae.

How long was that ago transporting with CEVA? I got quoted $1689 from CEVA and costing nearly of half of the car itself.... its a CB GSR one of the 4g member is selling. Here is a interesting find getting it license in WA without going thru the pits...

Oh the car don't have AC it would be a nightmare driving from Brisbane to Perth + fuel cost.

If I decide it remain rego in QLD and having the vehicle driving WA would that be an issue. Maybe I could keep paying qld rego and mailing address to WA each time it's due.

Is it possible to replace all the seals "on the gear box and transfer case" with just the transfer case off, gearbox remain on the engine bay? It seem to be a big task if I do need to remove the gearbox "which I've never done it before" :o

Nope I have never open the end cover from the gearbox. I did remove the passenger drive shaft "I moved the shaft to a side enable me to remove the oil pan" is there a bearing there?

It has been a while since my rvr off the road, spend too much time fixing and find the leaks. I have put the head back on with new oil pump, belts, seals, gaskets etc. Upon further searches, I suspect oil leak could be coming from between the gearbox and transfer case: I heard that gearbox and...

I found a similar size bearing on the ground after removing the transfer case. Not sure does it belong to the output shaft, should there be any concern :fuuuuu:?

Brian, the method you're referring to is it using a compressor to compress air into the cylinder to keep the valves still. What springs/retainers do you suggest to go along with the above cams?
