    How much boost?

Thanks for the input guys. Just wanted to have an idea of the safety margin. Not looking for power but more reliability. Car is extensively tracked on road courses. In your opinion, is 300whp achievable with relative reliability?

Low compression reading on all cylinders

Hey Shawn, My guess is the compression will go up once you run it a bit. Probably stuck rings. Are you putting it back in the white car?

I am starting to think the compression tester is not good.

Low compression reading on all cylinders

We did try both dry and wet. No difference. Winding over pretty fast. We used a good battery from a running car.

Low compression reading on all cylinders

Hi guys, A bit of a head scratcher here. I went to see a friend who has a 7 bolt 4g63 for sale. The cylinders are overbored slightly. Head gasket is a cosmic metal gasket. All bolts/studs are ARP. Timing belt was done recently. We checked the timing and it is correct. The engine is out of the...

    High oil level

I just changed the oil on my evo 1. I put too much in. Is it a problem or should I just leave it like it is? I am maybe 1.0-1.5 cm above the high mark on the dipstick. Thanks

What is the easiest way to replace the belts

Trying to replace the ALT, A/C and PS belts on my 92 Evo GSR. It looks like it is a very tight fit on the side. What is the easiest way to do this? I did a search on the forum and checked all the manuals I have but couldn't find specific info. Thanks in advance!

Spline count - EVO rear axles

Thanks guys. 25 does sounds about right but I see axles with 24 so I wanted to make sure.

Spline count - EVO rear axles

I am looking for rear axle parts for my 92 EVO GSR. Not easy to find here in Canada so I am trying to compare with DSM parts. Would anyone happen to know what is the spline count on the inner side of the rear axles? What about the outer spline count? Thanks in advance!

    Weird electrical issue

Thanks for the diagram. Everything is working fine again! Victory! I am not sure what did it as I did a bunch of things. Some connections were dirty. Cleaned them up with contact cleaner. Also replaced fuses. So far so good. Will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

    Weird electrical issue

heater/defogger 10A fuse inside the car gets power. The large 30A defogger fuse under the hood does not. I assume the circuit inside the car triggers a relay somewhere. Where/which relay is it? If the relay is not switching, it would explain why there is no power to the 30A fuse under the hood.

    Weird electrical issue

Checked the fuses under the hood and inside the car. All were good except for the folding mirrors (which had not been working for a long time). The plot thickens. Will check power to the fuse boxes...
