I did take some extra precautions this time. One of them being a club lock. These work well. I know now because night before last, someone tried again. Couldn't get past the club lock and tried "cutting" through my non original, but real momo steering wheel. Lucky it was alright quality...

On the weekend my beloved Evo1 was entered into and they tried to take it. Nothing valuable in the car, and nothing taken except the ignition barrel. Luckily not the car either. I always lock the car, but it doesn't look like they forced entry? It's not ideal, and it could have been worse...

As in topic, I'm after a front door motor - not the regulator (which I bought thinking it was the problem). A different motor has been tried, but its the actual plastic around the drive portion of the mechanism that is broken, so I think I need the whole assembly? Part number is MB827384...

Pulled off the door trim and the receiver does have the similar set up with fix and set switch. Thanks GSR 95T!

I've searched, but to no avail .... The "black" coloured frames around my door windows are fading. What's the "official" way to restore them to original? Given I'm replacing the roof shortly, thought I'd get the panel shop to do that also.

So I've had a look and the little motor above the footwell doesn't completely move "all the way" to blocking air at footwell,f ace or window. I have to manually push it that little further. Is it simply a matter of cleaning mechanism, or can the little individual motor run out of puff??
