    Yes the sensor runs in the back of the dash and also compares with abs sensors as well. At a certain ratio it should be something like 4 speed sensor revolutions to every one wheel revolution or vise versa, I always forget.

    Only code coming up is 24 - VSS I have only a basic understanding on these ECU's. Is there somewhere I can look for Sensor values and check on the ecu? like TPS voltage etc. Or does anybody have a good understanding as to other reasons it can run a limp mode?

    Thanks guys. Yeah sorry, I'll double check the flash codes but I'm certain the code I looked up was a speed sensor fault, not sure on the flash number but I'll check again tomorrow

    Yes that's correct. I have that exact plug (same 4 terminals) but no others that I can see around that same area

    Just curious if anybody has a diagram of the diagnostic port on early Evo's. Or also if anyone knows through an engine conversion from 1.8t to 2.0t if such wiring would be changed or modified in the swapping of engines. To explain, I'm trying to get the PDA cable from meek and run the MMCD...

    Factory ecu (reflashed) injectors are 1000cc big fuel pump. Cams and head work also.

    The annoying part is that it is tuned. Richest I would normally see under HEAVY load was only 12.5-13:1 I have an external reg, could possibly try it but I have a feeling there is something electrical going on for a start. I'll update when I get more info. Just in case anybody runs into these...

    This was my thought also. Idles rough but at lambda 1. It had a coolant fan switch issue before. When I resolved the issue, it didn't take into effect until I reset the ecu (remove battery terminals for 30+ mins)

    Only diagnostic port I can see is the old school mitsubishi type. Its only running 4 actual wires to it. I probably should have mentioned it's a Evo 3 setup in a gsr. It will normally idle 13-15:1 Under load I'll be going as far as 10:1

    No it's currently running. not the best though. Wideband reads too rich under load while idle is normally ok. I do have a dead spot in my TPS but with no onboard diagnostics I'm getting tired of checking resistance values haha
