Quick question has anyone tried mb-l8 for a gearbox additive??

Cheers for that mate, will try that tomorrow, took it for a good drive today almost every time i shift into second then first it engages. Maybe i could swap the first synchro out of my old gearbox and put it in this one.

Damn was hoping it wasn't the gearbox, it has been sitting around for a while so yes i think your right and yes will give that a try. Just hope it frees up.

Nope no clutch drag, clutch fluid levels all good, flywheel has been machined. Neutral somehow ended up being first gear for a couple times so that was weird.. All the other gears are fine.

Thank you all for your help, i really appreciate that, so i will need a drivers side lsd cup shaft for the NRWE.. And if i was to get the NQBE gearbox which is the non lsd version of the NRWE, could i use the same cv cup shafts off my original gearbox? Thanks again.

So i will need both cv chafts to match the lsd?

Hey guys! I have a W5M33 NRBE gearbox in my gsr, wondering if i can replace it with a W5M33 NRWE gearbox? i know nrbe has no lsd and nrwe has viscous lsd.. needing to replace my gearbox as synchros are gone. Thanks!

Wow what happened here lol anywhoo my gsr started to play up again, was running fine last 2-3 weeks ago, took it for a cruise this weekend and started to backfire again lol jesus, fuel filter and coils next. Also going to re gap the plugs still at 0.8 hopefully that will fix my lemon of a thing...
