Interesting what you say about the eBay wind guards, Mine only has double sided tape and no clips, been on the car 2 years+ and past 180+ on the track with no issues.

Not exactly the cheaper end of the scale but if you can get a set a Yokohama ado8r they are amazing. Good in the wet or dry. But they do come at a premium price for this reason. There is also a pay for 3 get 4 sale on till the end of the month on these also
