    Okay so I've narrowed the issue to the power cable running to the boot for the amp, I'm not entirely sure how this is powering the clock fuse but once disconnected no more power at the clock fuse

    Okay so I disconnected everything even the lighter and clock cluster, so no stereo, no lighter, no clock, key is turned off but still getting big draw through clock fuse, even with the ignition off, this doesn't add up

    I ran the stereo into the existing wires from the kenwood unit, kenwood unit has run for a year with no dramas hence the conundrum
