    Belt didn't snap, car still ran until I turned it off, then the belt didn't grab when I turned it by hand. Has non interference flat tops and standard cams so I hope the clearance was enough, nothing touched when I was turning it by hand with the cams not rotating

    Sort of, found the problem, the timing belt tensioner bolt snapped. Knocking was the tensioner hitting shit as it bounced between the block and the timing cover. Might fix and sell it if it hasn't done too much damage. 63 is nearly in and then a tune and hopefully lasts awhile. Might keep the 93...
