Hey guys,

Just wondering if anybody knows where i'd be able to get a set of 13" rims from?

Need 13 X 7 inch rims for a project car. nothing bigger/smaller, as is the only size that fits the tyres for the catagory it's to be raced in.

I've contacted the usual wheel/tyre shops in sydney, and have only gotten one reply, which was a big fat no (from tempe tyres.)

Preferably looking for forged/lightweight rims.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
George

Whoops. sorry bout that.

4X100 pattern. I think the offset might be +2, am still checking that.

and yeah, cordia ones are no good. way wrong for the application.

Yep. sorry, missed that bit :p

THanks heaps for that!!!!!!!!! looks pretty damn perfect!!!!!! I'll check the offsets n such, but yeah. Many thanks :D

these wheels are very popular amongst the rotary scene (especially in NZ)

George, I can source these wheels from Japan for you. I'm not a business, just bring things in for mates and for people in extenuating circumstances.

The only thing is how much you want to spend. If you aren't concerned with weight/look and a similar size wheel is standard on a car in Australia, use them, if not feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can find.

Try one of our sponsers - CVAP.

Andrew has a tonne of weird and wonderful rims that could possibly meet your needs. Contact details in my sig.

Thanks for that guys :D

Been told budget is about $200/rim.

Basically; lightweight is best. And aesthetics/looks important also, so local stock rims are definately out! The project is designed to have a decent power/weight ratio, rather than heavy with high Hp. I'm pretty sure buddyclub and rays wheels make something of suitable size, they're just difficult to source.

Only problem might be in purchasing, as i need to go through alot of red tape in order to purchase anything, but am currently trying to get through all that.

i was going to saw: watanabes or minilights (i think thats what they're called)

so try ae86/corolla forums and mini forums.

Minilights are definately a possibility. Have heard of them.

Panasport rims are from the US? i googled it... dunno if they have the right width.

cosmetics is sorta an issue, so watanabe probably wouldn't suit.

I'll check around other forums. thanks for the advice.

Pretty Sure that
CC Gli rims are 13"
their 4x100 too

are they 7" wide? might be of use to put on a rolling chassis, but I'm after something lighter for the event it's to compete in.
