hi all,

Does anyone know if 15" rims would fit on an e4?

i'd like to upgrade my e1 brakes and use dba 5000 rotors from e4 as they use the same caliper as e1-e3.
they come as blanks so i can redrill to suit 4 stud pattern too.

any help appreciated.

well i know they run 16s stock on an e4.

so 15s maybe do able due to the fact they arent using brembos.

I recently tried fitting 15" rims on my legnum.

Legnum VR4's use the same caliper and rotor as an evo 4. The rim wouldnt fit due to the caliper size, not due to the rotor size.

So if your putting evo 1-3 calipers on with evo4 rotors you might be ok, although having said that, I am pretty certain evo 4 calipers are very similar in size to evo1-3 (given that they use the same pads).

evo 1-4 calipers are the same,

just the bracket that is different,

so wont fit, bugger!!!

what wheels did you try and fit?

evos 1-3 though come with 15" rims as standard, so if they have the same calipers as evo4, then what would the problem with them fitting?

(not denying that they dont fit, just wondering why)

because the bracket is spaced out further for the larger sized rotor,

the bracket holds the caliper out further

Dougmo - haven't got a price yet.

yes there is doubt becuse the caliper mounts would be diffrent to e1-e3.

The e4 rotors would fit over the hub nicely and hopefully not affect offset etc..

I'm also looking at using s5 rx7 4 pot calipers
