I have a 1997 Starwagon 2wd auto 4g64, I need to get a tailshaft centre bearing replacement on the two peice tailshaft the Van has but I have tried everywhere in Brissy/Ebay/Gumtree and cant get one in Australia that doesnt cost a small fortune.

Does anyone have any idea
1: where to get one in Australia , Repco has one but its $253 or
2: is there any variants that I can use, Triton seems the same but cant find spec details to compare.
Any help appreciated.

Cheers

I'd either take detailed measurements or take it down to the wreckers and compare side by side, something's gotta work.

Mitso parts do swap around a bit, for example on my rvr I can fit a triton clutch master cylinder. I think you might have to pull apart some parts to make it fit.

if you are really lucky, you can try a bearing place like CBC bearings. sometimes the same number is used on many vehicles. when I got a replacement for the VR4 the new part number is a bearing companies number not a Mitsubishi number.

Look up the specific mitsi part no then ebay it in the uk I.e. Set your County to be UK. You'll find lots of ads that list all the comparable part numbers. Search these back to find other models that run the same bearing then off to u pull it.

evo brakes = fto mivec = outlander turbo = magna brakes. Same item, prices from $600 to $60
