Grumpy old man from the school of hard knocks
I was reading through some websites and saw a couple of posts that intrigued me enough to go out and buy some new mitsubishi brake brakes that fit up to the stock evo 123 twin piston assembly. So basically slide the old bracket that bolts to the hub off...slide on the the new one and fit 294mm discs from the same car as the bracket and bolt up. You will need to redrill the rotors or get custom drilling done in four stud as the new rotor is five stud. looks stock...no adapters. wont make as much difference as say 4 piston upgrade but will tolerate heat for longer before going off. Even seems to take the same pads. I have only fitted it to a stock hub so far....but will fit the whole thing up when the new rotors arrive
had to get the brackets from the USA as although the is available here, mitsubishi wanted a house deposit
16" in wheels will be needed to clear the larger brakes....
