Hi guys,

Just in regard to the 3000GT caliper upgrade I have a question with the disks. I have a picture added to aid it here.

3000GT:
A 296mm
B 45.2mm
C 30mm
Height of mounting surface 15.2mm

R32 GTR
A 296mm
B 54mm
C 30mm
Height of mounting surface 24mm

R33 GTS-T
A 296mm
B 53.75mm
C 30mm
Height of mounting surface 23.75mm

Although it will widen the track, would I be right in assuming that using a Skyline disk will actually assist with caliper clearance along the wheels? Or am I wrong here?

They'd be cheaper than the 3000GT ones because there's a greater supply of Skyline ones though?

I'm trying to eliminate the need to run illegal spacers.

skyline ones are dearer new. i have bought both in the past

i think they have dropped the price on 3000gt because they
move so slowly.

oh
i thought you got 17x8 +32

nevermind

but yeah, the skyline rotors wont work because the hat height is too tall and it will foul on the suspension parts

also you'll have to get custom brackets made up

so if you're going to do that, you might as well get the brackets made to suit bigger rotors

Well I have coilovers so they shouldn't foul there. Maybe on the knuckle as said...

Why would you need custom brackets to suit? They're the same width and thickness as the 3000GT's

I would expect that you would have problems with the abs sensors as well if using the skyline rotors. You would also have to ditch the dust shield.
Are the bores the same for both the nissan and mitsi rotors?
