As above, is anyone getting these under 17" rims?
Im looking at adaptor plates again for the ute. A tape measure says I have a internal rim size of 15". It looks like they will fit (yes even including the calipers).... bloddy big rotors.

Local laser cutter reckons $60 for cutting adaptors. Cant go wrong with that.

it will depend heavily on the rotor and rim

but a evo x rotor and caliper wont fit into 95% of 17" rims

What sort of callipers are you going to run? I have 295mm rotors with GTO callipers an I wouldn't fit 350mm rotors with those I don't think. The callipers are the same as the nissan 4 pots

My99 wrx 4pots. Not brembos.
I dropped a magna awd 297mm rotor into the back of my rim. Then slid the lot out towards the rim edge. Measured the offset and doubled it to give max diameter of 360mm.
My rims are very flat inside and the spokes are outies, so it all should clear at 350mm.

Nup, no good. Calipers only take 28mm thick rotors max.
Ive been through the whole dba catalogue to find 320+ mm rotors and not much luck. Most are 32mm. I dont think im game to rip 5mm out of the throat of a caliper....
Even looked ay 2010 camaro rear discs...
I mighy have to stick with the 297mm awd magna discs that I have here. Pity really.

Xr5 fronts are close but only 20mm bigger

Hey Jack,

I have some new unused 320mm x 30mm 5x114.3 slotted rotors that have been redrilled to 4x114.3 you can have for cheap if they would work for you.

They came with my 6 pot wilwood kit to suit a VR4/E1-3, but I ended up going to wilwood two piece rotors.

Craig.

Yea, I could go 320mm. But I was thinking it maybe not worth the hassle as I have the rotors at 297mm and 320 isnt much bigger really.
Im home tomorrow, so im going to have another look at this, and all the notes.
Im at 5x114 front and rear.

Getting some of these camaro rear discs. 28mm thick and 365mm. They are 5x120 pcd but I can fix that. I might need to spin them down a bit on the lathe. Slotted and dimples for bit over $200. 47.7mm hat height (2.7 taller than gsr. 67.4mm centre register (machine out to 69mm)
Looks close to me.

My calipers will only take 28mm. And most oem stuff seems to be 32mm thick when 320mm+
I made a list and there is 350z, r35, audi quattro, xr5 and a few others.
The camaro looks pretty good. They are also rears for the ctsv caddy.

Yeah, the 320mm I got on mine are from a 350z..

To be honest, I never measured the difference... All went together well, and wheels have gone on (with a small spacer) so just need to get the rest of the car back together and test all clearances on the road..

I have a shot of the rear, but you can't really tell with difference... Well I can't anyway ..

Yea it looks good. I dont like the unswept area at the inner part of the rotor, im going to fix that if I can on mine.

In the vice pic the ball joint is at the top and not fitted. I was concerned that once the bottom control arm is on, it will be fn close to the disc. Even tho I see you have shortened the dust cover. (With a axe?)
